Founder and director of the pelican. Started off as a muso in Melbourne, then became a puppeteer, then a straight actor, then ventured into musical theatre, then into TV and appalling adverts, then took off for a six week holiday to Europe. 9 years later came back to Aus having in the meantime trained with Phillipe Gaulier, Monika Pagneux, The Desmond Jones School of Physical Theatre and La Scuola Internazionale dell'Attore Comico.Very tall.

Another import, John arrived from the UK in 1997 and met Trefor working for the Vic Arts Centre's Winter Arts Season. Long and varied career in the UK as a performer director and teacher. Amazingly loud stage voice, needs gagging at times.Serious child on stage.
