Communication

Communication between parents, staff and children is of the utmost importance during these first years of formal education.  It would be beneficial if we are informed of any family circumstances or health issues that may impact on your child. All personal information is kept confidential.  We will also discuss your child’s progress with you throughout the year.  Our teachers are available to talk to you when you bring and pick up your child and when you attend duty.  If more time is required, or both parents need to be involved, an appointment out of kindergarten hours can be arranged.  You will be kept up to date with news and up-coming events by reading the notice boards in the foyer and the newsletters that are sent home.

Concerns & Grievances Procedure

Any concerns regarding your child at East Burwood Pre-School, should be promptly raised with your child’s kindergarten teacher.  Should you have any unresolved concerns or any feedback regarding our program, please contact the President of the Committee of Management of East Burwood Pre-School, either in writing or verbally.  Every effort will be made to resolve any issues immediately.
