WEST BEACH WEEDING
2.00pm Sunday April 18
West Beach St Kilda is a beautiful wild place used by all sorts of people including photographers of Japanese weddings, but like any Garden of Eden it does need weeding occasionally.
Weeds growing in sand are easy to dislodge and afternoon tea will be provided. The weather forecast looks good, so come and join us for a pleasant afternoon on the beach at the corner of Pier Road and Beaconsfield Parade St Kilda West.
Testing Water Quality in Cowderoy Creek
2.00pm Sunday April 18
Simple water quality testing is going to be carried out on a regular basis in some of the outflows along the foreshore. Come and see how it’s done at Cowderoy Creek outlet on West Beach and join the Earthcare members working on this project.

ETHICAL INVESTMENT
Do you have money to invest? Neither do I, but it is of interest to Earthcare to invest our grant money wisely and to learn the green, socially responsible way to use our resources, by contributing to a sustainable environment and society.
Janice Carpenter will give us some advice at the next Earthcare meeting 7.30pm "the House" corner Blessington and Herbert Streets St Kilda.
