Editorial Notes...page 26

As you can see, Preemie-l has a lot to say!!!!

I had hoped to cut the size down a bit, instead, it got bigger!!

It just goes to show how much preemie parents want to talk about their babies.   Especially with someone who REALLY understands... who has been there... who can rejoice with you after a weight gain of a whole ounce!

The topics section deals mostly with bonding.  The big question in most preemie parents minds.  Will I be able to bond with my baby even though we did not share those *special* moments right after birth.?

The bonding topic also went on to discuss how well we bond when the child will have long term complications...

I am still working on more articles... special needs, multiples, and member highlight, where you will be able to get to know some of the members of Preemie-l..

An added feature in this issue is a resource page.  On the "Preemie Things" page (in the Prematurity Bytes section"), we will be highlighting web pages, books, and information about the health and welfare of premature infants..   This month, take note of the abbreviations section.  This is a small collection of frequently used abbreviations, and what they mean.
