  Editor's note:

This last month has been a busy one for me...
I moved from Orlando Florida to San Diego Ca.
My son is now 4 1/2 years old, and still has lingering issues resulting from his prematurity. This means that along with the move, I have to arrange for all new therapies... auuurrrrggghhh. I have to admit, aside from his severe feeding issues, he is overcoming his *preemieness* more and more. I look forward to the time when his early arrival, and complicated gestation is no longer an issue in his daily life. Though, in the back of my mind, I know that it will always be there, and I will always be just a bit overprotective of him. And will always worry just a bit more than I need to. Someone said that our children may reach a time when their early beginnings no longer have an effect on them, but we will always be *preemie parents*. I do agree with that, I think the fact that my son was premature has a much greater and lasting effect on me than it does on him.
