In brief....

• This website has been passed over to a new Webmaster. Exciting times are ahead.
• ABC  will start screening season 4 June 29th 7.30pm. . Doctor Who has not been screened on a Sunday since the 70's.
• Series 4 Volume 1 containing the first three stories of season 4 has been released in the UK.
• The Five Doctors -REDUX  has been released locally.. It not only contains BOTH versions (original and remastered) versions of the stories but the US commentary track for the remastered version (released some 5 years ago) as well as a NEW commentary track for the original televised version and brand new documentaries.
• Season 4 has commenced screening in the UK. With the Christmas special already released on UK DVD, the next disk which contains the next three stories is scheduled for early June so its not that far away. No news as yet when the local ABC will be screening it, let.s be thankful and supportive of the ABC that they ARE screening Doctor Who.
• Torchwood Season 3 is rumoured to only be the "family" version of the show. This year two versions were transmitted, the full version and the "family" version. Lets hope the DVD release will have both.
• Sarah Janes Season 1 DVD's for 2009 release? A quick check at a major UK DVD retailer has shown that the first two Sarah Jane adventures are scheduled for a 2009 release. Surely this can't be right???????
• Voyage of the Damned / Time Crash has been released in the UK recently. It also contains CUT DOWN confidential for Voyage of the Damned.
• Black Orchid and Invasion of Time are the next DVD's scheduled for UK release.
• A NEW DWCV Message board has been created. The old board will operational until the end of December 2007. Please log onto the new board and start  posting there. The old board will only be a pointer to the new board with a single message displayed. This will discontinue July 2008.
• As well as Gallifrey One check out the Doctor Who Appreciation Society for up to date news in the world of WHO.
• Sarah Jane Adventures has recently completed screening in the UK with 10 episodes. The format is 25 minute episodes. Personally, I speculate that this could be a testing of hte water to see if Doctor Who would go back to this. I for one MUCH prefer the 25 minute format so there is less rushing at the last five minutes of a story. The DVD of the pilot, "Invasion of the Bane" has been released in the UK.
• A collector of BBC novels ? Well, you better get your final orders in. The past doctor BBC novels are apparently no longer in print which explains their disappearance from book shops as well as regular releases. Much like the last batch of TARGET and VIRGIN books, some of these are likely to become rare so grab your check list and buy them while you still can. Many you may need to order in especially as local distributors no longer have them.
