This Month's Meeting
Friday 20th April
Ant Clark
Make Poverty History

At the halfway point between the start and end dates of the Millennium Development Goals, it is timely to revisit the campaign that calls for governments to honour the commitments made in 2000 to do their fair share to halve global poverty by 2015. What is the campaign? Are the goals realistic? How is Australia as a rich nation faring in its commitments? How are poor countries faring? What can we do to do our part as individuals? We'll try to make what can be a 'dry' subject slightly fun! Ant will take us through the Make Poverty History campaign.

Take Action To
Make Poverty History

Now is the critical time to take action and let the ALP know what we expect from them if they reach government. Don't delay in sending your email and forward the link to friends in other electorates.
