Next Meeting Friday May 13th Bookfair Set Up Night
We hope to see everybody at the Eltham Library and / or the Senior Citizen's Hall from 4 pm onwards on Friday.
Because it has turned out to be MUCH larger than expected, we will need lots of help moving the books and helping out on Saturday.
"Shelves" always need restocking and tidying and also we plan to have Fair Trade Tea and Coffee sampling to help the sale of those items.
So, if you were not at the last meeting and have not put your name on the list for Saturday, and can spare some time, please ring Beth on 9439 1716.
Don't forget to urge all your friends and relations to come. We have thousands of books and they are still rolling in. Can you also bring some plastic bags to put the books in.

Future Meetings
With our two major Tsunami Fundraisers (almost) over, we must now turn our attention back to all the other truly vital needs of all those millions not affected by the Tsunami, but who still need our help.
We need to make all those people who have donated so generously to the Tsunami Appeals, become aware of Oxfam's "Day to Day" work on development issues and on activist and campaign work.
80% of the Tsunami donors were new to Oxfam, and we, the long term supporters, can lend a hand to help engage these people and keep them as interested supporters in Oxfam's work.
Our program for the rest of the year will reflect this.
June Meeting--Michael Gordon, The Age Journalist who is the only reporter to have ever been given access to the asylum seekers in Nauru. (See Ruth's article on page 2) July Meeting--Andy Kenyon, Oxfam's director of programs in Africa speaks on Darfur.
