Phew!! We made it! A big thankyou to everyone who participated in the Walk in any way! Special thanks to Cathie Roby and the organising committee for the effort that went into this year's event. A debrief meeting took place last week during which time many useful points were discussed - the good and the bad.

In summary, here is how the Yarra Valley Walk took place:

• 116 Walkers or cyclists participated
  
• Twenty-seven (25%) donated $667 on the day. The other 89 either had a Sponsorship book or walked with someone who had and they estimated they had raised $5890.
  
• Money raised is down this year that also occurred for the other Walks in Victoria.
  
• The Walk went smoothly with Group members doing a fantastic job--registering people, manning checkpoints, providing refreshments and other tasks on the day. Other Group members walked or cycled. No photos to prove it but we will get them to tell us all when we report at a meeting.
  

Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne 2004 was held on the weekend of 26 - 28 March under bright sunny skies. 337 teams started the event and an amazing 333 teams crossed the line with at least one team member still staggering. A total of 1,140 walkers finished of an original 1,348.
