CLUB Information     

The Diamond Valley horse and Pony Club is affiliated with the Pony Club Association of Victoria and is a member of the Northern Metropolitan Zone.

Our rallies, the major day on the Pony Club calendar, are held on the FIRST Sunday of the month (unless otherwise gazetted) at our new grounds in Hurstbridge on the Heidelberg-Kinglake Road. (Melways Map 263 A7)

We are fortunate to have the use of land alongside the Diamond Creek for our pony club activities. The site is picturesque and offers ample space and scope for all levels of ability and interest. Through our hard working families the club is striving to improve the grounds and facilities and make the club renowned.

The aims of the Pony Club are to encourage riding and horse sports, provide instruction in horsemanship and promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty.

Once a Pony Club Member has attended a number of rallies and demonstrated the safety in their horsemanship they are graded on that horse.  Graded members are offered many horse sports such as Gymkhanas, Dressage, Flat Riding, Games and Show jumping and Horse trials, which test the Dressage, Cross Country and Show Jumping skills of both horse and rider.
