Membership

The Doncaster-Templestowe Historical Society Inc was formed in 1967.
The Society maintains Schramm's Cottage museum complex located in Muriel Green Drive (off Victoria Street) Doncaster,
maintains a local history archive
and promotes knowledge and understanding of the history of the local area.

Current membership fees are:
$20 p.a. (Individual membership)
$30 p.a. (Family membership)

Membership includes four copies of the Doncaster-Templestowe Historical Society Newsletter per year.
Newsletters include items of historical interest and information about monthly meetings and activities.


As a member you may:

  • attend meetings to hear speakers
  • attend excursions to places of historical interest
  • assist in care of the historical displays
  • assist with care of the buildings and gardens
  • asist in conducting tours of the complex
  • assist in opening the complex on Sundays & Public Holidays
  • assist with the database catalogue of the Society's archived material
