"Basically, Previews is your TV Guide to the comics industry. In it, you'll find a listing for almost every comic book you will be able ot buy in approximately two months. Previews provides you with a short description of the upcoming issue, tells you how much it will cost, whether it's in full-colour of black and white, and points out other cool features. Plus, Previews also provides you with information on other merchandise you can purchase like trading cards, toys, books, games, videos, and more.
The January 1999
issue of Previews launched the 1999 "The Justice Society Returns" skip
week event. A graphic image from the cover of All-Star Comics #1
graced the flipside cover and the event headlined the front section of
DC's publicity section of Previews "Direct Currents". The first 7 pages
of the DC section were devoted to The JSA Returns - with another three
pages further in at the index section.
