Welcome to

The August/September 1942 issue of All Star Comics - ASC No.12 - contained an advertisement from the folks at All Star Comics Headquarters asking how many readers would like to join a junior justice society.

The following issue announced the formation of the club and advertised for membership.   Children could become members by sending 15c to "Headquarters" and in return would receive a membership kit.  And quite a kit it was too, containing: a welcome letter from JSA Secretary ( see right! So that's what Wonder Woman was up to whilst the boys were out there fighting); a members badge; a membership certificate; a secret message de-coder device; and a 4-page "patriotic war bonds comic. In all it's various revivals there were 18 pieces of Jr JSA items to collect.

Ironically the Jr JSA outlasted the JSA - as it continued to be  advertised for a few months after the super heroes had been bumped for the cowboys in No.58 - the onset of.... All Star Western.

Here for your enjoyment are some of club advertisements and messages from the comics as well as the merchandise members received as "Jr. JSAers".
