Advertisements

There was a tradition of full page advertisements for the Jr JSA in DC and AA comics from the club's establishment announcement in ASC#12. Above is the full page advert encouraging readers to join the Junior Justice Society of America that was published in All Star Comic #24.

The Adverts are interesting historical sources for tracking the development of the club and the changes to the membership kits.  The advert above mentions the metal membership badge, right is an example from the war years when metal badge had been replaced by the embroidered cloth patch.
