Delich, Craig. All-Star Comics Revue. Kansas: the Author, 1977. Craig Delich, Editor-in-Chief.  Jerry G. Bails, Consulting Editor.  David L. Delich, Publisher. 84 pages.

The introduction to the ASC Revue states:

"The All-Star Comics Revue is the culmination of a dream: the dream of many comic fans across this country to see an up-date of Jerry Bail's classic 'An Authoritative Index to All-Star Comics.' But the All-Star Comics Revue is more than an index: it is the most extensive, up-to-date and complete publication on the Justice Society of America ever attempted in the history of comics fandom."
The book is divided into four chapters.  Firstly, the updates version of Jerry Bail's original index with issue summations, b&w cover gallery, biographical entries, JSA Laboratory notes, backup stories and a trivia section. Secondly, an up-to-date history of the JSA in second heroic age in All-Star and JLA, as well as a feature on the origin of the JSA for DC Special 29. Thirdly, a Rogues Gallery section on JSA villains. Finally [and my favourite!] a section on the Jr JSA with illustrations of all versions of the kits and correspondence.

A treasure cave of information, this is one of the standard texts of JSA history that should be studied by all fans!  I bought my cover on eBay in 1999 for US$15.00!!!  Best internet purchase I ever made!
