Deaf Skiing and Snowboard Australia was founded on 3rd June 2002 to promote the skiing and snowboarding sports within the deaf community. It is the governing body for deaf wintersports in Australia and aims to build a strong relationship with the world of deaf skiers and snowboarders to Australia.


Objectives of DSSA

• Providing information for the needs of the deaf skiers and snowboarders, and to select the Australian Team for the Winter Deaflympic Games.

• Increase awareness of the profile of deaf skiers and snowboarders in Australia and the community.

• Provide support to the Australian Team for the Winter Deaflympic Games.
