When and where do we meet?

house.gif

The DPS, as it is known, meets on the fourth Sunday of each month (except December) from 12.30 pm - 5 pm (12.30 pm for coffee and chat, speaker is usually at 1.30 pm, break for coffee at 3, meet again until 4.30 pm, then clean up/pack up time.)

We meet at the Bundoora Community Hall, Noorang Avenue, Bundoora (Victoria, Australia) which is off Greenwood Drive, between Plenty and Watsonia Roads. Where we meet is behind the main hall. There is plenty of parking just by the door. All we ask is a donation of $2 to cover the cost of the hire of the hall and other incidentals and that you please bring a plate of yummy nibbles to share. Tea and coffee are provided. So come along to any meeting and introduce yourself. You are very welcome.

If anyone would like to share any of their genealogical experiences or travels, please contact Marsha at the meeting and she can put you in on any one of the "vacant" dates! You may think that others "are not interested" in what you have to say....WRONG!

We are always willing to listen to others experiences: bookwriting, travels to Ireland, meeting up with Aunt Harriet, where you went to school, what genealogical (database) program you use, looking at old photographs, the choice is yours!
