As we've previously noted, there are just about no resources dedicated solely to the partner of a person with diabetes. But 'us' partners are given a great insight into the diabetic world through some of the regional young adult groups that are available to us. Even if you are outside the metropolitan areas that these groups exist, or outside Australia, you still have access to their great web sites.

This group is very active in metropolitan Melbourne, along with two new regional groups in Ballarat and Geelong. The newsletter Yada Yada is an inspiration, as is their founding convener Kate Little. Kate has had a very big helping hand in supplying enthusiasm, support and even the odd dash of constructive criticism to help Sugar Support move ahead.
