Rachel's story
Rachel is aged in her late 20's to early 30's. Together with her 5 year old
daughter Lucy she was advertised as 'free to good home' in a country newspaper.
A kind-hearted lady took them in, but she had no idea how to care for donkeys.
She was unable to catch them, and consequently their health deteriorated.
Rachel and Lucy came to our attention and were surrendered to the Shelter, and
after their health had improved they were placed in carer homes. Rachel
is a gentle jenny and she has a permanent place in our hearts.
