The club holds a number of competitions each year. Annual aggregate competitions are held in the categories of small prints, open prints and projected images. These are awarded each April and coincide with the Annual General Meeting of the Club.
To coincide with the Christmas meeting of the Club, awards for open prints, small prints and projected images of the year are made. In addition, two special awards in the categories of landscape or seascape prints and projected images are made. These, together with several other competition awards, are made in honour of deceased former members of the Club.
