A permit is required to hold/possess a Dingo south of the Dog fence in South Australia. However, this permit is limited to genuine/select wildlife parks only. A strict selection criteria is required before a permit can be authorised/issued eg. require management plan, for public educational purposes etc. otherwise, people are prohibited from holding/possessing a Dingo south of the Dog fence in SA and permits will not be issued to members of the public.
A permit to hold/possess a Dingo (unprotected species in SA) north of the Dog Fence is not required
