The Vision Information Line is a national telephone information service for the use of any person requiring information on vision impairment or blindness. Information is collected nationally about all blindness agencies and organisations, stored on computer and supported by a large visual display.
Our operator can assist with information on eye conditions, blindness, education, employment, technology, equipment, rehabilitation, day centres, recreation, talking books, pensions and concessions.
Information is given initially via telephone with follow-up material in print, large print, braille or on audio-cassette if required.
