a book on the Buddha's teaching

This book [~6MB PDF] has many examples of how to apply the study method for his teaching that the Buddha gave. The study method enables the Buddha to interpret his teachings for us, rather than rely on one of the various Buddhist traditions to interpret his teaching for us. In other words to see the difference between "Buddhism" - an organised religion, with many sects, like all other organised religions - and the Buddha's teaching - a path to a fully satisfying life, a personal growth strategy.
My study of the First Discourse of the Buddha from 17 sources of the text in Pali, Chinese, Tibetan and Sanskrit is part of the above book, but if you'd like it separately it is a 4MB pdf document. WARNING regarding dogma: some possible corruptions have been identified in the Paali texts!
The first edition of my book [~6MB PDF] is more suitable for those interested in making a "thorough investigation" of the Buddha's teaching. To be informed of any corrections to errors in the book, please join this email discussion group. I hope to do a second edition in the future.
