Formed in the mid-80's, the Deakin Athletic Club is affiliated with Athetics Geelong and Athletics Victoria. Deakin athletes compete in the local Geelong Athletics interclub competition as well as at State and National level.

...Noticeboard... Track and Field The AV Shield season will commenced on Saturday 15th October. Programs for the Geelong venue can be found here and all the dates can be found here. Image from AV Season 11/12 Registration Registrations for season 2011/12 are due. The AV registration form can be found here. Don't forget that to register properly you need to have done the following:   1. Fill in the AV registration form, including date of birth, contact details (phone numbers, email address), age category and any discount (ie country athlete etc.). You must sign the form (or get an adult to sign if you are under 18 years).   2. If paying the AV component by credit card (preferred), fill in your credit card details on the bottom of the AV form and write a cheque to cover the Deakin Club fee.   3. If paying by cheque, send a cheque (made payable to "Deakin Athletic Club") to Ian Blanchonette (Deakin AC Registrar) for the AV component plus the Deakin Club fee (see fee structure below).   4. Send the form to Ian to be signed, along with the cheque.   5. Please complete the Deakin registration form (a copy can be found here) and return it to Ian along with the AV form and cheque. Deakin Club Fee Structure:   Senior athletes (Open and overage): $25   Junior athletes (Underage): $15   Little Athletes (VLAA U16 & U18): $10 PLEASE NOTE THAT BOTH AV AND DEAKIN CLUB FEE NEEDS TO BE PAID BEFORE REGISTRATION WILL BE PROCESSED.
