Welcome to the Dandenong Districts Little Athletics Club
Dandenong Districts are one of six teams within the
Dandenong Little Athletics
Centre in the
City of
Greater Dandenong,
Melbourne, Victoria.
Established in 2005, this Summer Track & Field season is
our 3rd year of competition. We are only one of the clubs within the competition, but
as such, we get to know all our athletes and parents in a family friendly
environment.
On event days we compete at the Barry Powell Little Athletics Track,
Robert Booth Reserve, Dandenong (Map 90 H6)
Little Athletics recognises that children vary widely in shape, size and
athletic ability, and is thus one of few sports that successfully caters for
them all. The Little Athletics motto is "Family, Fun and
Fitness"
We are always welcoming new athletes to come down and join us. No
previous athletic ability or experience is necessary.
The emphasis is on having fun and each
athlete to achieve their own personal best time or distance for each event they
compete in. For further

2006/2007 T & F season
Highlights
Timothy Nelson, U13 Boy broke the Dandenong Centres record for Javelin on
Saturday 11th of November 2006 with a throw of 29.76. It is also a new club
record.
Dandenong Show Handicapped event
