- DEAFBLIND AWARENESS WEEK 23-30 JUNE 2007

This year is the 10th anniversary of DeafBlind Awareness Week, which is celebrated across the world to raise awareness and to celebrate the birthdate, 27th June, of Helen Keller the world’s most renowned Deafblind person.
The activities planned for this year, are:
- Fundraising and Awareness bag handout – Bunnings Hardware Store BBQ, Thornleigh, Saturday 23rd June.
- Dinner Dance at Forsight Foundation, North Rocks – 6PM Sunday 24th June.
- Vision Australia BBQ Lunch – Friday 29th June.
- BIG Birthday Party, City Farm – 11AM Saturday 30th June.
We would love to see all people who have helped over the past years and would welcome future volunteers who wish to join us, plus anyone who wishes to know more about us. Please phone 9744 0160 or 0419 420 239.
