Flora and Fauna The parklands are home to many plant and animal species. Friends activities include the provision of nesting boxes, bird walks and, in the future, environmental, plant and history walks. |
Indigenous Plants Garden This is an established garden showcasing native plants suited to suburban gardens in the local area. It is situated at 95 Shepherd Road, Glen Waverley and is open for visitors at any time. Friends manage and maintain the garden. Working bees are held on the first Sunday of every month from 10am - 12 noon. |

Plant Nursery Friends manage a plant nursery which is shared with other groups including students from Holmesglen TAFE. Collection of seed and propagating activities are regularly undertaken. |
