Gipps-Land Gate

Greg Dickson began a quarterly magazine in 1971 called Gipps-Land Gate, and continued to be its editor right up until his death in 1993. The magazine format was 20 A5 pages plus cover. It was then edited briefly by Ray Carter, and our current editor Carmen Powell has been at the helm since 1998. In Carmen's time, it has changed to 40 A5 pages plus cover twice yearly.

Price: Subscription is $10 per year, including postage & handling.
Individual editions cost $4, plus postage & handling costs, depending on number of magazines purchased.

Reminiscences of Early Dandenong

Written in about 1934 by the owner of the Dandenong Journal in 1934, it is about very early memories of Dandenong. We have published it with photographs in 1984 and 1994.

A Snapshot of Dandenong in 2001
Carmen Powell

Produced to celebrate the Centenary of Federation as part of the ‘Snapshot of Dandenong in 2001’ project, it had funding from the Commonwealth Government. This A4-sized soft cover book features a brief history and photograph from over 100 of Dandenong's community groups.
