Council has its own collection of objects and other materials. One of its best
known photo collections is the collection of photo negatives from the
photographer Graham Southam.
Its records office also has information (for example, vertical files for its
reserves) that is available to the public.
Springvale & District Historical Society
Begun to collect objects and information about the history of the area once
known as the City of Springvale (includes the areas of Noble Park and
Keysborough), this society continues today.
Its centre at Hillcrest Avenue, Springvale (behind the Springvale Library) is
open from 2pm to 4pm on Thursdays.
