The Daffodil Web Site was developed as a 'specific use' site to aid the 'Daffies' to more readily communicate news and share information, photos and ideas etc. The 'Daffies' are RAAF trained engineering apprentices who enlisted in 1953. Any member who began with the squadron is regarded as a 'Daffy'. Most served for at least fifteen years and all achieved much in their life.
They continue to uphold their special camaraderie with dignity.

The Webmaster is a facilitator and editor, not the only contributor! Members are encouraged to participate to make the Site a success. Please assist and encourage others in your area, who don't have personal Internet access, to use local Library public computer access (available most places). Any comments and criticisms are most welcome and can be e-mailed to the Webmaster.

VicNet has kindly supported our community Web Page, with up to 10Mb of free space. Access for uploading files and managing the site is excellent. The available space should satisfy most of our requirements. If necessary, the Photos page may have to have a limited number of photos available at any one time.
