Noel was born 15 October 1936 and died in Melbourne on 4 July 2006. He came from Footscray. During his R.A.A.F Service as an ELEC Fitter he had served at Laverton working on Mirages at ARDU and Avalon, and visiting Darwin and Woomera. Noel left the R.A.A.F in January 1968 as a Sergeant and started a TV repair business. Noel developed a brain tumour and underwent treatment in 1993. After many falls and a hip replacement in the November he entered a home in December 2005 and remained there until he died. Noel and Jeanette had four children, one son and three daughters, one of whom, Debra, died at the age of 35 in 2003 leaving two children.
