24 December 2007 - John Martin
"Hi, Bill & Jack, just got the latest news off the internet (postie has not delivered mine as yet). Well done to both of you. You have put a lot of work into the production. Thank you."
27 December 2007 - Don Barry
"Received the latest Daffy News today and was surprised to read that we were not registered as possibles for the event.
However I have, this day, written a cheque for the Deposit to send to Nowra, and I have booked a room at the Archer. Would you please add our names to your list of inspired attendees?
A point, you had listed the Archer as the recommended venue. Maybe you could have listed their contact details??"
11 June 2007 - Graham McAleer
"Kevin very well done. A professional job."
12 June 2007 - Les Holt

Otherwise, you need a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader V 5.0 program, or later, installed on your computer. It may already be there. If it's not installed nothing will happen when you click the link. If so, come back and click here to get a free copy for Windows (Adobe Version 5.1) from Adobe and install it. Allow 30 minutes to download. When you click the download link for Daffy NEWS, Adobe Acrobat Reader will open and the file will start to download from Daffy WEB. It could take up to 5 to 10 minutes, so go make a cuppa after you click! When the file has fully loaded (all blinking lights will stop) you can print it straight away by selecting the 'Print' button or save it to your computer by selecting the 'Save' button in Adobe Acrobat Reader and select your directory you want it in. You can then open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader to read, print it, enlarge it etc., anytime. Now, Click this link Daffy NEWS and for the liftout page click this link Address List. Save to your computer or print directly from the screen. |

"Dear Webmaster,
I have just logged on and found your message re Daffy News Issue 28 so went to the website and followed your instructions and had no problems at all using my current Adobe V 6.1. Congratulations to all concerned for a very informative, constructive, and extremely professional document. To be able to print it in colour on my home PC is a bonus."
16 December 2006 - Fred F
"...Have downloaded Daffy News, which I will read later. It looks great. Perth reunion looked good. Can't believe how young everyone is looking and I don't mean Doug or Alan!..."
17 December 2006 - Peter A
"Hi Bill & Kev,
Congratulation on the first electronic Daffy News. Both you and Kev should be commended for the excellent "Colour" production. Good to be in the 21st Century. Typical excellent Daffy job. Congratulations."

"After much confusion in trying to download the 'News' I have just finished reading it and I think it is a credit to you to produce a wonderful magazine on the web.
In future could you add the date to the file name as I am archiving them in a special PDF directory and if they are all 'Daffy News' they will be over written. I would suggest something like 'Daffy News Dec 06' and increment the date or even use the volume number to change the file name."
[John had some difficulty because of a Zone Alarm program installed on his computer, now sorted out. If anyone else has similar problems we may be able to help. I will fix the filename to DaffyNews28.pdf. The AddressList will be updated when reissued therefore it can safely overwrite the last one, but you can always save or rename it if you wish. - WebMaster]

"Printed off both the above to have a read today, the Daffy News should keep the Daffies happy, plenty of pictures and reads well also. The Address List is of good clear print however my address has changed and should read [...]. The telephone numbers are [...]. Will send copies out to Geoff Smith tomorrow so he will read all about it before Christmas."
19 December 2006 - David Jones
"Just checked the published addresses and noticed that the "system" had not caught up with my new address. It is [...] Phone number remains the same. Looks good and I look forward to the next edition. Sorry I missed Perth but one cannot have everything. Hope to make the next one."
18 January 2007 - Peter Henson
"Bill, good job with the news, mine printed well. I'll get some stuff together soon for you. We are just back [from overseas]."
28 January 2007 - John Walters
"The Daffy News on the web was impressive. Would it be too big an ask to make the Perth photos available in a downloadable form?"
28 January 2007 - Col Hughes
"I'm not able to get Daffie news. The 'click here for the news' does not work. Finger trouble on my part for sure."
