Kingborough/Huon Valley CLC

Brian Doran Jo Goodman The Kingborough/Huon Valley Community Liaison Committee was the first to be sponsored by the League of Gentlefellows. It is co-chaired by Brian Doran and Jo Goodman (pictured at left) and meets monthly, usually at the Kingborough Council Chambers. Kingborough Council is represented by Cr David Grace.

Search Forum

Kingborough Council

The Kingborough/Huon Valley Community Liaison Committee was sponsored by Kingborough Council, which continues to provide support in the form of space for the Committee's meetings. During 2006 the Council developed a comprehensive Youth Policy, which can be accessed (pdf 53KB) by clicking here. During 2007 Council is developing a policy on Ageing and the Committee has advocated that during 2008 Council develop a policy on Diversity.

The Youth of Kingborough website was developed by the Kingborough Youth Council specifically for young people living in the municipality. The Youth Centre is located at 98 Beach Road, Kingston.
