Cootamundra Little A's is a local athletics competition for
children aged 5-17 years and tots 3-5 years.

Every
Friday commencing at 5:20 pm for warm up with competition commencing at 5.30pm,
finishing time varies throughout the season, please allow at least 1 ½ to 2
hours for athletes to compete in events, (maximum four events per night).
The 2011/2012 season will run from 14 October 2011 to 23
March 2012. Competition will cease for summer holidays on 9 December 2011
and recommence 3 February 2012.

At the completion of the season we will hold a presentation night at 5.30pm Friday 23 March 2012 at Albert Park. Could all athletes please wear club uniform.
Registrations will be held on Friday 9 September 2011 and Friday 16 September at Albert Park from 4:00 pm to 6.00 pm.
The cost of registration is $50 per child, from tiny tots to U17.
The committee meets once a month all year round to keep Little A's going. If you would like to have a more active role in your child’s athletics please come along to the meetings, your input would be most appreciated.
The Committee will meet at 7.00 pm on the second Monday of
the Month at the Cootamundra Ex-Servicemens Club, throughout the duration of the
season, except during the summer break.
All parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.
Meeting dates will be advertised on the whiteboard at
Albert Park on competition nights.
Any cancellations due to bad weather will be advised to all
schools before 3.00 pm on the day of competition, by a committee member.
If the conditions become bad after that time, a committee member will be at
Albert Park to advise between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm if competition is to
commence. The website will also note any cancellations. Competition may be cancelled due to extremely high temperatures
or wet weather.
Any child between the ages of 3 to 5 years of age is welcome to join in. For the 2011/2012 season, this includes any child born between 1st October 2006 and 30 September 2008. We have games and races that help to build on their gross motor skills as well as balance and co-ordination while having fun at the same time. Each child receives a stamp or sticker each week just for having fun in our activities and playing.
If you are unsure whether your child would be interested then bring them along one afternoon just to see how they go.
