Rata, who is well known for her work with the preppies at Mallacoota P-12 College, is also a Sister of Soul, presenting a great show every six weeks.
Rata has enjoyed a long association with 3MGB, being on the first Programming Committee when 3MGB went to air on a permanent basis back in 1992. Rata also was active in those early days as a presenter, sharing the Community House Show with Julie Jolly, bringing the community up to date in her role as Coordinator of the TAFE Outreach. 'I remember having the Programming meetings in Denise Jackman's house on Bastion Point Road, which was the Community House at the time' says Rata.
Rata has been on the Sisters of Soul roster for approximately 10 years, and the ease and style with which she presents her show demonstrates her expertise. For a morning of great female performers presented with style and flair join Rata on 3MGB, for Sisters of Soul, 10am – 12 noon this Saturday, straight after the Scrambled Eggs Brekky Show.
