"I have been wanting to join 3MGB ever since I came to Marshmead almost 2 years ago but work commitments have not allowed it," says Paul. Chapel, Live. He will feature a combination of his favourite types of music. From 7 - 8pm Paul will present Christian music, both contemporary and the more traditional praise and worship. Then, from 8 - 9pm, Paul will feature hits from a broad range of musicals including, Cats, Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance, and many more. Unfortunately Paul will only be with us for one term so don't miss out on the opportunity to join Paul. At The Chapel, Live, Sundays 7 - 9pm

Singing Scientist Succeeds

Congratulations to John Roy, 3MGB presenter, fine classical singer and well known scientist, who has recently completed his scientific book 'Spatial Interaction Modelling' ready for publishing.
John is a regular presenter on two rosters Light Classics, Fridays at 9am and From The Concert Hall, Sundays at 3pm.John joined 3MGB in 1997. He became a member of the Committee of Management in 1998, holding down the position of Vice President during 1999. In 2000 John cut back on his involvement in 3MGB to commence writing his book.   Three years and hundreds of mathemat-

Interestingly, John almost followed a musical career in his late 20's, holding a leading role in the Toronto and then the Boston Choir before studying opera singing under an Italian maestro. Although finally returning to science to make his career, John has always maintained an interest in classical music and singing.
