Not only is Holly O'Halloran a popular 3MGB teenage presenter, ( Teen Spirits Saturday 2 - 4pm and Unknown Sunday 5 - 7pm) but she has recently revealed that she is also a very talented visual artist. Holly, together with Raf Sands and Jim Hilvert-Bruce, is a finalist in the Photography section of the Gippsland Diegesis Festival, a celebration of achievements in video, photography, digital animation and web site design. Encouraged by Mallacoota P-12 College Arts Teacher Nigel Allison, the three students successfully submitted work from their year 11 folio to the festival. We wish them great success as we await the outcome of the awards. |
After enjoying a wonderful trip across the top end of Australia, Margaret Stevenson will return to the airwaves next Tuesday at 10am to present Genoa Gold. Margaret has presented Genoa Gold over many years, bringing to the community an amazing collection of jazz recordings. She has had a fantastic holiday and is eager to get back into the chair. Margaret is a past president of 3MGB and valued contributor to the station. Welcome back Margaret, we look forward to hearing your dulcet tones on air once again!
