Don Ashby, volunteer extraordinaire, is seen here teaching stilt walking to Year 7 & 8 students at the Mallacoota P-12 College. Over the years Don has volunteered countless hours to this community and he is still doing it! Last week alone as well as volunteering at the P-12 College, he assisted the Arts Council to stage the La Boite touring group Unified Gecko
and has started presenting a new 3MGB radio show. Don will be presenting an alternative and world music program every Wednesday from 2-3pm called Orbitsville, so why not tune in and maybe give him a call at the station to Let him know you care.
Thank you Don from all of us for your amazing and generous support of our community.
It's subscription time for 3MGB. Not only will you be supporting your local community radio but all those people who subscribe before 24th August will go in the running to win 2 bottles of 3MGB wine, a video hire voucher donated by Moving Pictures and a block of chocolate. The winner will be announced on the Coconut Telegraph on 25th August 2003.
The ComRadSat service is in a period of transition due to the loss of the signal from 2RDJ, which previously provided a sustaining overnight service. Unfortunately some changes to the program will be slow to be reflected in our guide Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused; we feel sure you will enjoy the new shows.
