3MGB Needs You!

Presenters Desk

3MGB is looking for new volunteers to fill this chair! Being a presenter is easy and lots of fun. We can train you, all you need to do is call Sue Williamson on 5158 0819 or Gail Hodgson (Secretary 3MGB) on 5158 0389 for details.
If being on air doesn't appeal to you, then maybe you can help behind the scenes. 3MGB is completely run by volunteers so if you can lend a hand, please call now to join our merry band!

Christine Brings Home The Baby

Former 3MGB Presenter Christine Evans visited her family over the holidays bringing with her new baby, Courtney Paige.
Proud grandparents Mike and Carol Evans of the Mallacoota Bakery were delighted to have Christine and Courtney in town.
Christine started her 3MGB career when she was 12 years old as the Kids Corner Sports Reporter. She continued on to become a rostered presenter of the school based program New Kids On the Block and later she presented her own regular show Get Ready Congratulations to the Evans family on their new addition.

Rock Steady Reunion

Briony Wood-Ingram, Vanessa Bartholomew and Megan Vatcher were all visiting Mallacoota during their Semester break and got together last Friday in their old time slot of 6-8pm. The girls played many requests and also featured their unique collection of CDs of Melbourne bands. All three girls commenced at 3MGB while in their primary school years and went on to become regular presenters gaining between them over 20 years of experience. The girls say they miss community radio and look forward to getting back behind the microphone when they come to town.
Briony and Vanessa are studying at Melbourne University and Megan at Monash. We look forward to hearing them again later in the year.
