Good Times Brewing!

Don Ashby and Gail Hodgson are brewing up some good times for the Winter Solstice celebrations to be held at The Tide restaurant this Saturday evening. The fun kicks off at around 7pm, when you will enjoy a 3-course meal make a bid for a rare record in the auction, buy a raffle ticket, cheer on the local entertainment and generally have a great time! Entry is only $25 per head. Mulled wine will be for sale around the brassiere in the front garden and prizes will be awarded for best costume. Book at Moving Pictures video shop.

Happy Hour Raffle

The Mallacoota Hotel Motel is not only a proud sponsor of Community Radio 3MGB but it also supports 3MGB and various other community groups around town by allowing a weekly raffle to be run during Happy Hour. Happy Hour is a traditional event on Friday nights when drinks are discounted, pool is free, delicious nibbles are served and the raffle is run. Each week on a roster system various community groups run the raffle to raise funds for their particular organisation. The Hotel regularly donates a bottle of wine and other local businesses donate or provide discounted goods such as meat trays, for use as prizes. Friendly representatives from the community groups sell the tickets commencing at 5.30pm and the prizes are drawn around 7.30pm. The patrons of the hotel are generous in their support of the raffle and $100+ is usually raised. 3MGB would like to thank the Mallacoota Hotel Motel and their patrons for their continuing support of our community.
