Richard Wootton is a long-time quiet achiever behind the scenes at 3MGB. Richard joined 3MGB in 1992 soon after he and wife Prue moved to Mallacoota. Over the years Richard has presented a number of different shows, including his latest the Thursday Lunchbox, he produced Radio Waves for four years, he's had a brief stint as Secretary, he produces the presenter schedules and rosters, he's been on the Board for 2 years and is currently Treasurer. As of June, however, Richard is stepping into a new role, that of Mallacoota Mouth editor whilst our current editor, Rachel Mudie goes on maternity leave He will be opening his Lunchbox for the last time for 3 months this Thursday the 29th May. I'm sure Richard will be missed on Thursdays but many of us are breathing a sigh of relief, as Richard will be continuing with his other administrative roles. Good Luck as editor of the Mouth Richard! And of course best wishes to Rachel as well. |
