James has been associated with 3MGB for many years, as a presenter, and has at times served as Program Manager, Station Manager and committee member.

James readily jumped in and took over shows as presenters left. During this time, James at various times presented Monday Breakfast, Tuesday Breakfast, Monday Fun Day and Scrambled Eggs Brekky Show.

We don't know if the pressure got too much for James but in September 2012 the grass looked greener on the other side of the country and James left Mallacoota and 3MGB to take up a role as gardener/maintenance man at Kununurra Hospital in Western Australia.
