    Mad scientists
Where are they? Is there anybody out there who's actually building that time machine/reanimating dead tissue/trying to bring back the dinosaurs/crossbreeding humans with animals or grappling with a "crazy" scientific theory that's so outlandish it'll probably turn out to be true? Have mad scientists been downsized? Is "ethics" getting in the way? Or is it simply a lack of funds or even a lack of imagination? After all, it was Einstein himself who said that "imagination is more important than science" so what’s happened to these mad, (and bad?) scientists?
Russell Blackford, Chris Lawson, Damien Broderick
