COAL has produced a training resource and four research papers which you and your workplace may be interested in purchasing to improve your knowledge and understanding of the issues that lesbians face.

Our information can make your job of ensuring proper access and equity for lesbians using, or trying to use, your service a whole heap easier.

Out For Action
is a three part training resource designed to improve the quality of life and health of NSW lesbians. The kits were researched by Bradfield Nyland, produced by Sand hall & Jack Draper, funded by the NSW Dept for Women with an update funded by acon. The kits are user friendly and contain interchangeable modules making them adaptable to suit various target groups.

Part 1: Out For Our Lives
Aimed as an empowerment tool for young and newly emerging lesbians informing them about their legal rights, identity, culture and community. This kit has 7 modules with fact sheets and instructions in how to coordinate a "coming out" group for lesbians.

Part 2: Out For Justice
Targets mainstream service providers and organisations in an effort to encourage them to include lesbians in their access and equity policies in a sensitive and effective manner.

Part 3: Out For Our Sisters
Designed to resource lesbians wanting to become involved in positive community development initiatives.
