Activities

• Lobbied at the UN 4th World Conference on Women, Beijing, 1995 & co-hosted the first internaional lesbian space tent at the NGO Forum.
• Lobbying for “grandfathering” of Changes to Centrelink Entitlements
  

• Produced research papers about lesbian health, violence against lesbians, lesbophobia and lesbian domestic violence.
  
  
• Lobbied the Australian Commonwealth Government to remove discrimination against lesbians accessing assisted reproductive technolgies (IVF), partners superannuatipon and recognition of relationships, and to improve the complaints procedure to the UN (Optional Protocol).
  
  
• Convened the Lesbian Health Advisory Group (LHAG) in NSW to promote best practice lesbian health.
  
  
• Produced Out For Action, training manuals for running groups for new & emerging lesbians and for service providers to improve lesbian access.
  
  
• Networked with national & international women's, and lesbian & gay organisations.
  
  
• Participated in Beijing+5, National Lesfests, Amnesty International Lesbian & Gay Human Rights, Health In Difference Conferences, Australian National Constitutional Convention
