our history

Community Media Services was established in 2005 by Melbourne media activists who set up TVU in 1986, RMITV in 1987, St. Kilda Access TV (SKA) in 1988, and the MCTC (Melbourne TV Channel 31) in 1991.

web 2.0 and cloud computing

We provide infrastructure support for media production through internet based web 2.0 and cloud computing services.

We use the community based Vicnet/MC2 platform for organisation, contact and web publishing.
