To provide affordable education, resources and support within a Community Development framework.

As part of the Neighbourhood House and learning centre sector, Clota Cottage is committed to the Community Development principles of community ownership and participation, empowerment, access and equity, inclusion, networking, advocacy, self help, social action and life long learning.

About Us:

Clota Cottage Neighbourhood house is a community organisation which offers educational, recreational and social support opportunities to all members of the community. Clota Cottage first had its humble beginnings in 1987, We are governed by a committee of management made up of local residents and interested people.

Volunteering:

At Clota Cottage we have a volunteer program with a volunteer coordinator, if you have some time to spare you would be very much welcomed. You may be interested in joining our Committee of Management or sub-committees and generally you can input ideas or comments in regards to the operation of Clota Cottage. We also require help in child care, Adult support program and office administration. The rewards are endless including fun social activities. Support and Training is provided.
