Computer Classes

 

 

Introduction to Computers:

Introduction to computers is held over 20 week period of each semester. It covers the basic introduction of computing software such as:

  • Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
  • Microsoft Word
  • Windows Publisher
  • Internet Explorer
  • Email Such as Outlook Express and Web based email servers, ie, Hotmail, Yahoo mail

Monday morning 9am-12pm

Wednesday evening 7pm-10pm (this evening Introduction course will be using Vista)

Start date Monday 13th July

 

Fees:

$128

Concession $100

Charges are made up of a basic course fee and a student amenities charge. These are set annually. Discounts are available for Centrelink pension and Healthcare card holders. A manual may be required for some classes, at a cost of $40

Internet Access and computers available for community use. Just $1.00 per hour

EBAY FOR BEGINNERS

Over two weeks learn how to sign up, including registering, navigating, using account functions, safety, ratings and bidding, including finding and watching auto bid functions, bidding, cancelling, contacting seller, negotiating postage and delivery and dispute resolution.

Certificate I in Information Technology (ICA10105):

Monday 12.30 - 3.30pm

For those who have completed Introduction to computers or have a basic knowledge of computers in general.

Certificate II in Information Technology (ICA20105):

For those who have completed Certificate I in Information Technology

All Courses are Nationally accredited qualification.

Learn the basics to transferring images from your camera to computer, editing, cropping and enhancing photos. participants will need their own digital camera.
