Summary of our Annual General Meeting of 2008

The AGM was held on Thursday 23rd October and was well attended. After reports were passed a special presentation was made by our Social Support program Leader Lynette Knight. A DVD was shown of the groups recent day trip to Daylesford. This DVD was produced by one of the participants of the group. After this volunteer certificates and Clota Cottage pens were presented.

Clota Cottage was established in 1987, twenty years on we are a vibrant Neighbourhood House and have over 500 participants come through every week, our program now offers a variety of opportunities for the local community especially taking into account our CALD and disabled community. An extension as built in 2000 which caters for ESL classes, the Social Support Program, events and room hire. The creche has been modernised with up to date equipment, new playground, flooring and amenities along with the office and computer lab. Our Committee of Management represents our local community and participants and is very committed and supportive.
