About 10% of venues have only one room and smoking is allowed in such cases. Unfortunately, in many large venues, they already have a restaurant so the remaining rooms may still be smoke-filled. Also, in some cases, smoke will flow from the smoking area to the nonsmoking area. (The "rooms" don't need walls and doors).
For more information see the Government website.
There are a few entertainment venues in Victoria (apart from restaurants) which have
chosen to be fully smokefree, regardless of government regulations.
Hopefully there are more. If you know of any, please
let me know.
